Abstract

Jawa timur's Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in July 2019 rose 0.32 percent from 108.20 to 108.55. The increase in NTP was due to the index of prices received by farmers (It) increased higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). Of the five provinces in Java that calculated NTP in July 2019, four provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while one province experienced a decline. The largest increase in NTP occurred in the Special Province of Yogyakarta at 1.10 percent, followed by Central Java Province at 0.58 percent, Banten Province at 0.48 percent, and jawa timur Province at 0.32 percent. While provinces that experienced a decrease in NTP occurred in West Java Province by 0.23 percent.
