Abstract

The East Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in July 2021 fell 0.28 percent from 99.03 to 98.75. The decrease in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) decreased by 0.15 percent while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.13 percent.
In July 2021, three agricultural sub-sectors experienced a decrease in FTT and two sub-sectors experienced an increase. The sub-sector that experienced the largest decrease in FTT occurred in the Food Crops sub-sector, namely 1.59 percent from 99.39 to 97.81, followed by the People's Plantation Sub-sector by 0.76 percent from 99.50 to 98.74 and the Fisheries sub-sector by 0.03 percent from 99.69 to 99.67. The sub-sector that experienced an increase in FTT was the Horticulture sub-sector by 3.57 percent from 94.00 to 97.35, followed by the Livestock sub-sector by 1.18 percent from 100.25 to 101.44.
Five provinces on the island of Java that carried out the calculation of NTP in July 2021, all experienced a decrease in NTP. The largest decrease in NTP occurred in Banten Province by 1.88 percent, followed by the Special Region of Yogyakarta by 1.23 percent, Central Java by 0.34 percent, East Java by 0.28 percent and West Java by 0.08 percent.
